When I laced up today I was in a bit of a rush and I didn't fuss with getting my privacy shield nice and flat. I find it difficult once you get to the point where the shield needs to get tucked under the other side and didn't think it really mattered. Tonight was the first time I've experienced corset pain. When I took it off I asked what was different, apparently I had a big wad of privacy shield wadded up right over my upper spine :( now it is an angry pain in the middle of my back that feels like a bone bruise. Think my only recourse at this point is to go corsetless til it calms down. Luckily it's the weekend and the weather is cold enough I can throw on layers to hide my unsupported bosom. I'm not really sure what the deal is with privacy shields/lacing shields. I know some manufacturers leave them out completely. Need to do some research on the subject, but for now know it's important to get that flat and tucked smooth. Feel like an idiot for messing up something I love.
